Chamber VP, April Wood to co-host the Garner Christmas Parade
It's one of Garner's most beloved traditions! The annual Garner Christmas Parade will usher in the holiday season in historic Downtown Garner on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. Once again, the Town of Garner's GTV11 will be filming the parade and editing it for later broadcast on Spectrum channel 11 and AT&T U-verse channel 99, as well as the Town's YouTube channel (youtube.com/townofgarner).
This year, Chamber Vice President April Wood will be joining WRAL morning co-anchor Brian Shrader to co-host the recorded broadcast.
The parade will feature dozens of festive entries from all across the community. The Chamber and numerous Chamber members are excited to be among the entries. So come on out to Downtown Garner for the parade, and, while you're there, say hello to April and Brian, who will be on the stage at Main Street and Rand Mill Road.
