"Once upon a time... There was a beautiful little girl named Rapunzel. Rapunzel was curious, full of energy, and loved life. Her sweet mother was often worried about her daughter's impetuosity and lack of good judgment, and her mother's worries become a reality when her sweet little daughter disappears. Rapunzel finds herself locked in a tower with a lady named Goethel who has always wanted a daughter with beautiful, long, golden hair. All Rapunzel has left from the life she used to know is the knowledge that her disobedience is what separated her from her mother, and her mother's book of Proverbs that she left in Rapunzel's care. Determined to become a better daughter, to grow in wisdom, to remember her mother, and to be reunited someday, Rapunzel studies the book of Proverbs for ten years until an opportunity to escape finally presents itself.
Unbeknownst to Rapunzel, Prince Oliver is about to celebrate his twenty-first birthday, and he wants nothing to do with wisdom. He is a fool who loves his folly, and doesn't want anything to do with the responsibility that comes with ruling his father's kingdom. He makes a plan to escape and explore the world and drags his best friend, Lord Dubois, into his little adventure. When the two young men experience some trouble and then run into Rapunzel, they are immediately confronted and impacted by the wisdom that comes from Rapunzel's lips every time she opens her mouth. The three unlikely friends have to avoid dangers of all sorts and trials of many kinds before they can learn what real wisdom is, and what God has planned for each of their lives.
