Sierra Hull Performs Live at the GPAC
Grammy-nominated mandolin virtuoso, Sierra Hull astonishes audiences and fellow musicians alike. Alison Krauss invited her to the Grand Ole Opry stage before Hull was even a teenager. Two years later, she signed with Rounder Records and soon became known as a remarkable mandolin player, a tone-true vocalist, and a recording artist of high order. She made two acclaimed albums and her latest release, Weighted Mind, is taking her career to the next level. Hull played the White House, Carnegie Hall, and the Kennedy Center, and she became the first bluegrass musician to receive a Presidential Scholarship at the Berklee College of Music. She made bluegrass history at the 2016 IBMA Awards in Raleigh by becoming the first woman to win mandolin player of the year. She took home her second trophy for the same award in 2017
