Trick-of-Trick Trails Set for October 30
Businesses and organizations can get involved in this great outreach opportunity
Don your costumes for Trick-or-Treat the Trails at White Deer Park (2400 Aversboro Road) on Friday, Oct. 30 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Trick-or-treat your way around our one-mile loop trail and collect treats from local community organizations and businesses at this free and safe event for all ages.
Last year’s Trick-or-Treat the Trails drew thousands of people, and we are expecting an even bigger crowd this year. This award-winning program was the 2013 recipient of the Innovative Program Award from the North Carolina Recreation and Park Association (NCRPA) and also the Rising Star Award from the N.C. Association of Festivals and Events.
An adult must accompany children at all times. Pets are not permitted (exceptions are made for service animals).
General parking will be across the street at Lake Benson Park (921 Buffaloe Road). Vendor and handicap parking will be at White Deer Park.
If your business or organization is interested in being a sponsor and handing out candy (plus promotional literature or other appropriate giveaways), contact Kendrick Mayes at kmayes@garnernc.gov or at (919) 773-4441.
