Tony Beasley, previously economic development director for the Town of Garner, has been named the Town’s new inspections director effective Sept. 1. He succeeds Sandy Teal, who retired Aug. 31 after serving as the Town’s inspections director for 25 years. Cabela’s Inc., a retailer of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, will build its first North Carolina store in Garner and employ about 225 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees, the Nebraska company announced today.
