SUMMARY:Community of Hope Ministries BBQ Fundraiser!
DESCRIPTION:Community of Hope will host its 5th Annual "All American BBQ" on Friday\, September 22nd from 11 AM - 7 PM. Plates will include barbecue chicken\, pork bbq\, slaw\, potatoes\, hush puppies\, tea or water\, and homemade dessert!  Plates are $10 and 100% of the proceeds will support Community of Hope Ministries.\n\n\n\nThe "All American BBQ" will be held on the campus of First Baptist Church of Garner at 601 St. Mary's Street. COme by for lunch or grab some plates on the way home from work so you don't have to cook dinner.\n\n\n\nDrive through and walk-ins are welcome beginning at 11 AM on Friday morning September 22nd. Dine-In or Take Out will be available in the Christian Life Center at First Baptist Church of Garner. Lunch deliveries are available for any Garner area business who would like to order 10 or more barbecue plates. Order plates by calling Executive Director\, Amy White\, at 919-201-1211 or by emailing your company name\, point of contact\, email\, phone number\, number of plates you would like to order and the time at which you would like to have them delivered. Email amy@cohmin.org to place an order.\n\n\n\nCommunity of Hope is a Christian non-profit serving the at-risk population in the greater Garner area.   It is a member of the Garner Chamber of Commerce\, and has significant partnerships with many Garner-area businesses\, civic organizations\, local schools and churches. The ministry operates a free\, afterschool tutoring program for at-risk elementary aged children who are below grade level in reading and in math\, Camp Good Hope a Christian summer day camp\, a track out program for year round students\, a large food pantry which distributed over 171\,000 meals to hungry families in the Garner area last year\, a crisis assistance program\, a Carpenter's Hands Ministry serving the elderly\, widowed and physically challenged\, a 16 week Biblically-based job skill readiness program called Jobs for Life\, and a huge garden called the Garden of Hope.  \n\n\n\nFor more information about Community of Hope go to www.cohmin.org
