The Garner Chamber of Commerce's fourth annual CONNECT & Plug in the Future Conference will bring a judge from the Denver panel\, who will bring insight and share Garner's\n\nwinning edge in the AAC competition.\n\n..\n\nThe featured speaker for this event will be Sharon Allred Decker\, N.C. Secretary of Commerce\, who will give a presentation on "The Case for Change." In addition\,\n\nSecretary of Transportation Tony Tata will explain how NCDOT's new Strategic Mobility Formula will create more jobs and fund more projects that will better connect people to jobs\, healthcare\, education and recreation centers\, while increasing economic competitiveness.\n\n\n\n.\n\n..\n\n...\n\n"Garner is poised for greater economic success\, and this event will connect business leaders\, citizens and elected officials together in order to plug in the future that is right for businesses and residents\," said Neal Padgett\, president of the Garner Chamber.\n\n\n\n.\n\n.\n\n.\n\nAdditional conference topics include:\n\n..\n\nHighway 70 Business Corridor   The Chamber Board voted to support the recent bond referendum because of the investment in Highway 70   a key to our economic growth. Rich Barta with Core Properties will be featured.\n\n \n\nWake County School Bond Referendum   Wake County voters will consider an $810 million school bond referendum this fall.  What Garner projects are on the list?
