Knights of Columbus, Fr. James Keenan Council 11266 - Garner, NC Annual Golf Tournment

Come out and enjoy a great day of golf and support the Knights of Columbus in our effort to aid many, worthy, local and state charitable organizations and enjoy chances to win many great prizes. Council 11266 is part of the many councils that make up the North Carolina and worldwide Knights of Columbus family. We strive to exemplify our order's principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.  Join us in our continuing effort to provide support to our local community and veterans throughout the state. 100% of the proceeds raised from this golf tournament will be donated to the many programs that we support. 

Some of the programs we support care for people with intellectual disabilities. We donate money though the LAMB (Least Among My Brethren) foundation to classrooms with special needs students in the Garner School System and to the Special Olympics of North Carolina.  We also aid the Wounded Warrior Leave Program at Camp Lejeune. The program sends North Carolina based combat wounded men and women home for Christmas through the Military order of the Purple Heart. Other organizations we're involved in are Heroes United and the USO of NC.  Heroes United takes homeless veterans and provides shelter and assistance to transition them back into society.  The USO provides programs to enhance the quality of life of US Armed Forces personnel.
