A Chamber Road Trip to visit Richmond, VA to learn best practice to deal with expected growth in Garner. Join other community leaders and stakeholders as we focus major topics to discuss and learn about; all with the goal of growing Garner more effectively and efficiently.

Bus trip includes 1-night hotel stay at The Graduate Hotel - Richmond (individual room), all meals, transportation and attendance at all tour events on location.

11:00am-Arrive in RVA (Richmond, VA), Check in to hotel

11:45am-Take bus from hotel to Activation Capital

12:00pm-Lunch by Mama J’s

12:45pm-Life Sciences Presentation by Activation Capital & Alliance for Building Better Medicine

1:45m-Take bus from Activation Capital to Regency

2:15pm-Economic Development - Shopping Malls Transformation (Panel & Tour) - Henrico County Economic Development, Workforce Development & Chesterfield County Economic Development

3:30pm-Take bus to Graduate Hotel

4:00pm-Relax at hotel or take optional walk over to Lemaire at the Jefferson for Happy Hour

5:30pm- Reception and Dinner in Scott's Addition at The Park RVA

10:00am-Walk through Virginia State Capitol grounds to Pulse Government Station - Ride Pulse to Science Museum Station

11:00am-Self-guided Tour of Science Museum of VA

12:00pm-Lunch at Science Museum

1:00pm-Transportation/Bus Rapid Transit Presentation

2:00pm-Take Pulse from Science Museum to Arts District Station, walk to Graduate Hotel to pick up bags

2:30pm-Depart Graduate Hotel

3:00pm-Stop at Staples for Send-off

6:30pm-Arrive back at Garner Chamber
