9:00 am - 11:00 am

• Pretty in Pink - Write handwritten notes of encouragement to breast cancer patients and assist in assembling nametags for an upcoming event

• Community of Hope Ministries - Project TBD
• White Deer Nature Center - Help improve the ecosystem of White Deer Park by removing invasive plant species from various habitats. Park staff will lead the team in hand-pulling smaller plants and cutting and treating (with herbicide) larger plants using various tools. Volunteers must wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Bring pruners and loppers if you have them, along with work gloves. Park staff will have tools and gloves available to borrow as well. Volunteers will be given a quick invasive plant identification lesson before starting. Our target species will include Chinese Privet, Autumn Olive, and English Ivy.
