New Year's Pea Party by Angie's benefits Garner Ed Foundation
It’s a New Year’s Pea Party!
It's a southern tradition. Black-eyed peas and collards on New Year's Day is a symbol of prosperity, good luck and good fortune for the coming year.
Now you can do that with no mess in your kitchen and no bother at all—and benefit a great cause at the same time.
Angie's is teaming up with Garner Educational Foundation for a New Year’s Day “Pea Party” from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Angie’s Restaurant on Old Garner Road. The cost is only $10 per plate, eat in or take out.
Your ticket includes black-eyed peas, greens, country ham biscuit, banana pudding and iced tea.
Also, with each ticket you purchase, your name will be entered in a drawing for some wonderful prizes!
These tickets make great stocking stuffers.
All proceeds benefit Garner Schools and Garner students through the non-profit Garner Educational Foundation. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce (through 12/22/2017) or by contacting garneredfoundation@gmail.com.
