Popsicle Party in the Park!

Join Garner Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources for a Popsicle Party in the Park on Monday, July 22, 10:30-11:30am at the Avery Street Recreation Center field (125 Avery Street).

In addition to free popsicles, drop by to join in on fun Rec and Roll activities! Rec and Roll, a mobile recreation vehicle, was a grant funded by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA).

Why the party? July is Park and Recreation Month! The theme for 2024 — “Where You Belong” — celebrates the many ways park and recreation professionals across the country foster a sense of belonging in their community by providing welcoming and inclusive programs, essential services for all ages and abilities, and safe, accessible spaces to build meaningful connection.
