Imani Horton, also known as Imonylowd, is a 25 year old soul singer and poet. She was born, raised, and still resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. Growing up Imani loved the arts, and knew that God would use her in a mighty way to encourage, inspire, and lead people to freedom through art as she got older. Imani attended and graduated from Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School and from Liberty University in 2016. Since then, Imani has been pursuing music and poetry full time in hopes of making it her permanent career. When she gets on a stage to speak she seeks to empower and push people to pursue their dreams, find their purpose, and walk in the purpose they've been created for. She loves people, and being able to be a light in a world that stays hungry for a good shine.
Sherman Williams - With over 16 years of writing and performing to his credit, DS always sets out to amaze his listeners with inward rhyme schemes, adroit wordplay, gesticulated performance, and topical subjects. Be it through his skill as an MC, his ability as a poet, or serving as the voice of the jettisoned, he has realized the power of the spoken and “non-spoken” word! DS Will has always been aware that writing can be a form of expression, a way to educate, or a means of healing. It is this belief that has allowed him to be a very integral part of the Triangle's poetic community.
