This yoga class is good for people winding down from work who want to move their bodies slowly and gracefully, learn flexibility, balance and strengthening movements for good health, and are looking to extend their longevity and prevent disability as they age. We will practice diaphragmatic breathing and other breathing techniques to relax and energize the mind. There will be a long guided meditation at the end of class to go into a deeper state of tranquility and feeling of being able to let go of any stress experienced during the day. The focus is on healthy aging really at any age or point in life. We are all getting older and need to prepare now before we begin to deteriorate with lack of self care. This is a yoga class for people who care about being healthy and taking control over their lives.
