Job Summary:
The Guest Services Manager will oversee the front desk operations, ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service from check-in to check-out. This role will involve managing the guest services team, resolving guest issues, and implementing processes that enhance the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and a commitment to creating memorable stays for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the guest services team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk, including check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and billing.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Train and develop staff to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements based on guest satisfaction surveys.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Manage inventory of supplies and materials needed for guest services.
- Prepare reports on guest services performance and recommend enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Stay updated on local attractions, events, and amenities to provide guests with relevant information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or guest services, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest service.
