Maintenance Supervisor
About Us:
The SpringHill Suites Raleigh Garner is a limited service hotel dedicated to providing a comfortable and safe environment for our guests. We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and ensure all facilities are in excellent working condition.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor will manage the daily maintenance operations, ensuring that all hotel facilities, equipment, and systems are well-maintained and functioning efficiently. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, performing repairs, conducting inspections, and coordinating preventive maintenance programs to uphold the hotel’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train the maintenance team, providing direction and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
- Oversee all maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues reported by staff and guests.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ordering as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in facility maintenance, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of maintenance practices for hotel facilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to respond to emergency situations outside of regular working hours.
